ISO9000 QUALITY ASSURANCE This is a world wide scheme, administered within the UK by the British Standards Institution, which ensure quality is maintained in all aspects of a companies operations, whether it is a manufacturing or service industry. An ISO9000 registered company will have been inspected by a BSI registered auditor who will ensure that all aspects of its operations are thoroughly documented and controlled. Once registration is achieved, the auditors(s) will return, normally twice yearly, for routine surveillance visits. These examinations ensure that the management system continues to operate effectively. In 1989/1990 Rock Asphalte were the first mastic asphalt company to achieve Quality assurance to parts 1 & 2 and are the only mastic asphalt company to be Quality Assured in both contracting and manufacturing |
