The British Board of Agrément is a partnering organisation with Government and whose Governing Board includes representation on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Transport, Local Government and the Regions.
The BBA's Agrément Certificates have been providing authoritative and
independent information on the performance of building products for over 30 years. Every Agrément
Certificate contains important data on durability, installation and compliance
with Building Regulations, not just in England and Wales, but in Scotland
and Northern Ireland, too.
Assessment involves three distinct areas - laboratory testing (carried
out wherever possible to UKAS requirements), site inspections, undertaken
by the BBA's own Inspection Services team, and factory production
control.

Certificate is that the product has actually been independently tested by the BBA
to meet their rigorous standards in performance and durability. These tests are backed up
by on-site inspections of the manufacturing plant.

| Certificate Overview: Asphalt 95/3112 FLEXIPHALTE AND FLEXIPHALTE POMPAV This certificate describes paving grade and polymer-modified paving grade mastic asphalt combined with FLEXIPHALTE POMMAR polymer modified roofing grade mastic asphalt for use in waterproofing and paving of concrete car park decks and lorry service decks. Information and design and installation details are provided including use of Pommar, Flexiphalte membranes, and coloured surfacing. | Certificate Overview: Asphalt 98/3545 FLEXIPHALTE POMMAR AND FLEXIPHALTE TRIPLE PROTECTION ROOFING SYSTEMS - This certificate describes polymer modified mastic asphalt systems for use as waterproofing on flat roofs, "dead flat" roofs, green roofs, garden roofs, podiums, roads etc. Information and design details are described relating to Building Standards, Weathertightness, Stability, Resistance to loading and foot traffic, Fire resistance, Maintenance, Durability etc. Design details are provided for various roofing and waterproofing installations, from simple cold roofs to the highest specification Flexiphalte triple protection and the needs of green roofs and roof gardens. |
